COMMENTS
Ruby color with purple reflections. Sweet, flattering nose of cooked fruit, cherry, mixed with brandy, ripe fruit, and chocolate and spice notes. The woodiness is more sustained on this vintage but remains melted. In the mouth, the round attack is followed by a silky and fruity matter. This 2018 vintage with melted tannins reveals itself on the fruit, of an exceptional concentration, and a beautiful aromatic persistence.
THE ESTATE AND THE WINE
· Area : 4 ha Harvested September 27 to October 20, 2018
· Terroir : stony at the top of the hill on which the estate is located, clay and gravel on the slopes.
· Grape varieties : 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Cabernet Franc
· Vinification : Cold skin premaceration vatting 4 to 5 weeks, soft extraction by reassembling. Maturation: 12 months, 50%. in French oak barrels of 2 wines and 50% in French oak barrels of 3 wines.
· Production : 12,000 bottles
